Yiie! 😍 so excited to share with you all my first-owned novel! 🥰 First, let me tell you how I acquired this. This is a gift from my brother-in-law back in 2011 (would you call it a gift if someone bought it because you asked? 🤔😅. They always ask me to come with them to SM Calamba. They are both book-lovers, so they would always come by NBS and Booksale. As for me, I was shy to ask them to buy a book for me, but this particular book caught my attention when I read “If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”, and you know what happened next. 🤣 So, Thirteen Day To Midnight written by Patrick Carman is a horror fiction book that tells about Jacob Fielding, a teenage boy who has an invinsibility power. He shared this knowledge with his best friend, Milo, and his crush, Oh. ❤ He also found out that he can transfer this power to another human being by saying the words “you are indestructible”, and that made Oh got an idea to save lives. Little did they know that every time they do that, this power becomes stronger, like a beast digging its claws inside whenever you ask it to do its purpose, and would dig back in whenever he transfers it to another person. So yes, they do save lives (even telepathically!), but they still risk their own, not to mention that they have to choose which one to save. 😰 It took me more than a month (I think) before I finished this novel but it was worth it! I still rate this book 5 ⭐️ as I never anticipated its ending. 🤫🤭 What about you? I’d love to know what your first-owned novel is! 😍
