Impossible

Impossible by Danielle Steele

Had to post this, even if it isn’t originally mine! 😂 Impossible by Danielle Steele, written somewhere in 2005, and I owned it in 2010 (it’s on our bookshelf and I don’t even know if my big sis had read it already). This novel by Steele is the first hard-bound book I first read. I guess it’s safe to say that this book made me fall in love with novels, as entering a new world with the use of your imagination is enchanting. The protagonist, Sasha, is a renowned gallery owner, whose life was almost perfect. A beautiful family with a loving husband, two kids, and a great job that made her rich. Sadly, her husband died and she had to live life alone, with her kids already starting to enjoy their lives independently. And then she met Liam, an artist, through her son. Not her age (he was close to her son’s age!) and definitely not her type, as he is a wacky artist, a YOLO, very different from a responsible mother and a poised gallery owner. But not a reason why they couldn’t be together, in the author’s eyes. The title itself described the plot: Impossible. Not realistic. Looking back, I could see why a 14-year-old would love this. This is a big step away from the fairy tales that she(which is me! 😜) had read. Overall, I’d give this book a rating of 3 out of 5. It’s kinda like forcing words out just to finish a book but still, imagination is there. How about you, guys? What was the first hardbound novel you read?

Thirteen Day To Midnight

Thirteen Day To Midnight

Yiie! 😍 so excited to share with you all my first-owned novel! 🥰 First, let me tell you how I acquired this. This is a gift from my brother-in-law back in 2011 (would you call it a gift if someone bought it because you asked? 🤔😅. They always ask me to come with them to SM Calamba. They are both book-lovers, so they would always come by NBS and Booksale. As for me, I was shy to ask them to buy a book for me, but this particular book caught my attention when I read “If you could have one superpower, what would it be?”, and you know what happened next. 🤣 So, Thirteen Day To Midnight written by Patrick Carman is a horror fiction book that tells about Jacob Fielding, a teenage boy who has an invinsibility power. He shared this knowledge with his best friend, Milo, and his crush, Oh. ❤ He also found out that he can transfer this power to another human being by saying the words “you are indestructible”, and that made Oh got an idea to save lives. Little did they know that every time they do that, this power becomes stronger, like a beast digging its claws inside whenever you ask it to do its purpose, and would dig back in whenever he transfers it to another person. So yes, they do save lives (even telepathically!), but they still risk their own, not to mention that they have to choose which one to save. 😰 It took me more than a month (I think) before I finished this novel but it was worth it! I still rate this book 5 ⭐️ as I never anticipated its ending. 🤫🤭 What about you? I’d love to know what your first-owned novel is! 😍

It End With Us

It End With Us – Colleen Hoover

It End With Us – Colleen Hoover. I have loved books ever since I was a kid and I always try to share the stories to others, even let them borrow my beloved treasure. 🥰 And since it’s hard to reach people now due to health restrictions and people are more interested with their phones, I have thought of creating this account just for books. 🤩📖 I buy secondhand books and discounted ones, and mostly YA genre. I don’t care much about the total condition of a book as I am more into the world inside of it, so don’t expect a hardbound or a perfect book in this account. 😁 So enjoy the worlds within the It End With Us I have read! Feel free to comment your opinions and POVs as I also want to have a discussion with book lovers. 😍🥰 and I’d love and appreciate it if you like and share this with your friends too!
